Fine Flowers with Brusho

I have just spent a wonderful weekend at the annual Little Bits Stamp Camp.  This was my sixth year attending.  A weekend just for me, and 33 other ladies, crafting day and night.  Bliss.

We receive a goody bag that included:

There was a challenge to make a card using the stamp set, and this was my entry:

Made with black Brusho (a great product if you have not played with it before), vellum, the Papertrey Ink Wonderful Words dieWonderful Words Additions stamp set, and a few sequins.  My inspiration came from this card created by Teresa Abajo.

Brusho is a paint in powder/crystal form with variegated colours in each little pot.  I only used the black on my card, sparingly, and misted with water.  There was some trail and error as to the amount of paint and water applied, but the results are always a little different.

All the ladies who attend the camp vote for their favourite card on the last day.  Although I didn't win (I did get a few votes) the winning card was stunning.

Thanks for stopping by
Sarah
